Little Climber and the ever Drowning Fish

(As always I apologize for my godawful picture taking. My digital camera is way m ore complex then I ever imagined.)
New Projects.
One Star boy
He is going slowly, not that it is difficult physically, but yes emotionally and I am having trouble deciding what to put inside of him. I don't want to use cotton balls. I think I'm gonna use bits of clothing, old t shirts and jeans
so for now he is flat. And not nearly as cute as he is in my head

I used the same doll pattern for the doll I made freshman year.

But this one will be slightly smaller, as he will be younger.

But you could never tell from the pic....

I love his face.

I like it cause I am handstitching which is my favorite. I hate machine sewing, and I know its faster and stronger and looks better but I hate it and never finich machine projects. But I will. Just you wait,

He will have three stars on each hand and foot.
For traction
Space is a slippery place

Being Orions son, he will need two canine companions which I will make once he is finished. I haven't thought at ALL about them, or done any sketches

One Gold Fish.

I used muslin I dyed freshman year. It came out just as I wanted. it was abased on a terrifying dream I had where I was babysitting and first the little boys best friends head was just..open, and we couldn't get to the hospital, cause I didn't know where I was.

Then the woman whose house it was exotic fish kept running out of the super specialized and purified water in its bowl and I only had tap water and I was afraid it would die, and the water kept leaving, and she, the fish, kept looking at me. It was awful. SO I made the fish. I still have not added the eyes.

I made it for class, and also handed in a written component which I will post in the comments for your nightmarish reading pleaure.

Off to write a 6 page paper.
