Bronx Zoo

Took a trip to the Bronx Zoo with my sister and her kids two weeks ago. It was cold, and I was tired, but it was fun. Zoos are hard places to visit, everything in cages, but at the Bronx Zoo they really do treat them well, and they are trying to preserve the species which humans in their greed and shortsightedness so quickly lead to extinction.

Anyway, got some really great shots here that I would like to share with you all! Some of the images aren't the best, but the animals are just soooo incredible.

Sea Lions Cont.
Sea Lions have always been my favorite "exhibit" Not only because they are the closest I can get to seals, but because they seems to bear their captivity the best, enjoying the attention of people, playing with each other and trying to get the crowd to clap and cheer as they perform tricks and feats. And yet, though so playful, they have such beauty, such incredible eyes. Oh to go live by the sea and the shore where the seals sleep
